About

I have been a writer ever since that drawing professor at Portland Community College convinced me I wasn’t as good at drawing as all the people who couldn’t draw told me. “Great hand, one of the worst eyes I’ve ever seen.” was what I got in lieu of a final. It’s still one of the best things anyone has ever done for me.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I’m also a career paper shuffler who gets confirmation bias from both sides of the aisle.

After mucking around in fantasy and space opera and completing several manuscripts in the former genre (including one genuinely worth reading) I’ve created a fictional universe and decided a series of stories about a high-tech, low-life heist crew on the edge of space is the best beginning to said universe.

As of this typing (May 10th, 2022) I’m working on a permafree reader magnet and the first full-length entry.
